Dirty Air Exits Engine
Fumes and oily vapour exit from the valve cover breather hose.

Air Enters Catch Can
Dirty air and fumes from the engine enter the XL Diesel catch can.

Excess Oil Is Collected
Oil in the vapour is trapped in the Filter Membrane, separating it from the air and drips down to sump.

Clean Air Exits Catch Can
Now the air is cleaner so that when it re-enters the intake system, soot buildup is prevented meaning the right amount of air/fuel can enter the engine.

Larger filter membrane to catch more oil
Carbon buildup is an issue caused by the combustion in the engine, when the engine fires it produces waste byproducts of fumes/exhaust and carbon. Too much carbon buildup will restrict airflow and the engines ability to breathe.
By using a catch can, oil sludge and unburnt fuel won’t be introduced to parts of your engine such as the intake valves and pistons, and could help prevent the rate of carbon buildup.
Cleanable and replaceable filter
Our catch can comes with a removable filter which can be cleaned by squeezing it into an old, clean rag thus removing any excess oil from it. We also have replacement filters which you can purchase from our spares page.

Compatible to fit standard Speed flow type fittings
The design of our inlet and outlet ports allow specialised fittings such as the standard speed flow to be adapted to our catch can, giving you the ability to fit your own fittings and pipe work to customise your vehicle as you would like.

We have designed the filter so that the oil vapour passes through greater surface area which means the oil in the vapour spends more time in the filter which gives high chance of catching more oil with no crankcase pressure build up.
All parts of our Catch Can are CNC machined from high grade 6060 Billet Aluminum to exact standards to ensure long lasting reliable use. The standard mounting bracket is Laser Cut from high grade Stainless Steel folded and shot blasted.
Multiple Colour Options
Our catch can is available in 4 standard colours including Raw Aluminium, Matte Black, Blue and Red. We also provide the option to select from a variety of colours from our extended colour palette range, as well as custom colours to meet your specification at a small additional cost.
